I wonder how many of those 10 million people have active accounts still.
I wonder that as well.
I wonder how many of those 10 million people have active accounts still.
ha this comment always comes up in WoW hits xx threads. But anyways if you would read the article it saysWorld of Warcraft's Subscriber Definition
World of Warcraft subscribers include individuals who have paid a subscription fee or have an active prepaid card to play World of Warcraft, as well as those who have purchased the game and are within their free month of access. Internet Game Room players who have accessed the game over the last thirty days are also counted as subscribers. The above definition excludes all players under free promotional subscriptions, expired or cancelled subscriptions, and expired prepaid cards. Subscribers in licensees' territories are defined along the same rules. That is 10 million active paying customers.
I wonder how many of those 10 million people have active accounts still.
More than half of subscribers - approximately 5.5 million - are located in Asia, with more than 2 million in Europe and over 2.5 million in North America. Blizzard's subscriber figures includes those who have paid a subscription fee or own an active prepaid card as well as those within their first free month of access. LinkI don't know if those that paid a subscription fee includes both active and inactive but I think it does.
I wonder how many of those 10 million people have active accounts still.
Exactly. I played for a few months and quit due to boredom. Don't count me in that 10 million.
That 10 million people who will never have sex
I don't know if those that paid a subscription fee includes both active and inactive but I think it does.
In the post above you:The above definition excludes all players under free promotional subscriptions, expired or cancelled subscriptions, and expired prepaid cards. That=they dont count inactive accounts.
I wonder how many of the refreshing WoW bashers before me hate the game because they can't play it.
I wonder how many of the refreshing WoW bashers before me hate the game because they can't play it.
Do you mean their PCs cant or they just suck at it? There are those groups of people, that just did not enjoy it. I for one had my fun, but it died for me. I actually prefered Guild Wars and FF. Not saying its a bad game, it just didnt grab me.
They may suck, their will might be so weak that they got ''addicted'' so they need to hate it to not play again... whatever. If you don't like the game, that's fine by me. But many haters are amongst the groups named above. And of course, there might be people who haven't played it yet they join the bash-wagon because they think that just makes them so c00l.
w00t pc has the biggest game evah!
That 10 million people who will never have sex
My wife would disagree with you on that.
I wonder how many of those 10 million people have active accounts still.
Isn't that number for current active subscriptions? Nonetheless it is quite a feat and have to give credit to Blizzard where it's due even though I hate WoW.
