Looks good, real question is what happens when alot is happening on screen? took pic of crysis(3 settings)

i think its an fps. really, aside from improved graphics, what did it do to improve the fps genre? they let you free roam in a level, but level progression is still linear.

Crysis on low looks a lot different to medium and high.I mean the whole atmosphere/feel/mood of the level looks different.

Honestly, I don't see much difference between your med and high SS except that it is darker on high and the hand/gun model looks more detailed. Low to med is a huge difference though, night and day.

Just look at the draw distance and lighting, are you sure you didn't switch the settings?

IMO if you're running Crysis at medium you're still getting arguably the best looking game out there.

Actually, the draw distance I between medium and high I find is justified. It's not draw distance, but a fog effect. It is a tropical rainforest on the island, so a fog effect around the trees is expected.
The game doesn't run too bad for me acutally since I have a 7600GT and Pentium 4 HT 3.0 ghz and 2GB ram I still get 15-20 fps on medium-high on 1280 x 720
Far Cry hasn't aged well.... especially compared to Doom 3 and HL2, the other heavy-hitters visually of 2004, even if thery came out later.Far Cry is almost 4 years old.... Imagine us thinking Crysis is ugly in 4 years....
