Too many games syndrome - which should I play?

I got my new computer on 12/5 and I've gotten a good amount of games since then. The problem is..... I got too many and I can't choose which ones to play.... I just want to play a Single Player game.... Here's a list of my currently installed games and my statusCOD4: Beat the intro mission, that's allCrysis: Got up to the ''core'' mission, all gamesavers were deleted, now I'm on relic on deltaThe Witcher: I'm at the beginning of Act I.... I beat most of Act I in the demo thoughHL2: Episode 1: I'm about 1/2 through this. It's decent, but the citadel parts are kinda lame. Need to beat it to play EP2!Original Half-Life: Never played it....STALKER: I'm up to the ''Garbage'' level and I beat the missions there...Portal: I got stuck on lvl 17, haven't finished it Oblivion: 12 hours in and I have no desire to play it again.RE4, HL2, GTA:SA: Beat them all Too many games syndrome - which should I play?
I'd go with Portal and then Crysis.Too many games syndrome - which should I play?
I'd go with Portal and then Crysis.
like he said :D and burn oblivion
Do Episode 1 and then Episode 2. Theyre both relatively short, and imo the best. Then go beat Crysis. It sounds like youre at least half way through, and you really should beat it since you were so close prior to save game deletion. Then go for CoD 4. You beat the first mission, so the rest of the game will only take 20 minutes :PAfter that, its up to you. The Witcher takes a good 40 hours or so you might want to play that when you get tired of the above three games. 10 minutes here, an hour there...it would just be nice to make some progress. As for Portal, come back when you feel like truly being mentally stimulated. Its a great game, and the very end is the best part lol....you'll see.And I think Oblivion deserves another chance, tis a lot of fun...just remember, play it as an FPS, not as an RPG!
oh ya, play the original Halflife ASAP, perhaps after the episodes or Crysis. If youre an FPS fan (it seems you are) it is nothing short of life changing

Keep playing The Witcher for a while, it gets really fun once you get into Act II. Keep playing Crysis often as well. COD4 is very short but lots of fun, and you could probably just beat it in one long sitting. After you do that finish up Half Life 2 before playing ep. 1/2 so things dont feel distorted. Your hurting yourself by not playing the original half life. Download Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul: http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=OblivionMods.Detail%26id=294 and Natural Environments as well as Qarl's Texture pack for improved graphics. If you think the original oblivion game world is boring then Oscuro's HUGE mod will change your mind. Give it a try.Hope it helps. :D
Original Half-Life: Never played it....
THat's a nice list.I think you should start with Half Life. It's easily one of the best games ever made, and you're doing yourself a great injustice in not playing it right now. Play it to completion - it is kind of a long game by modern standards, so if you start to feel a little burned, throw in a little bit of The Witcher. I find that playing different genres concurrently keeps me... stable. After that, finish up Crysis - you're already a good way into it. It's not a long game unless you want it to be. You could finish it in one afternoon. Then make a full blown start on The Witcher - if you did as I suggested above, you'll already probably be able to get 2 or 3 acts in. The game is about 60-75 hours long in total, so it's pretty long! But if you're like me, you'll find yourself not measuring your play time in minute or even hour chunks, but in something closer to four hour chunks. It's a real life-eater.But it's also a game that you can really get burned out on. Call of Duty 4 is a perfect battery-recharger for a game like The Witcher. It's crazy-intense high action and it's just the opposite of The Witcher. Plus it's a short game, so only playing it briefly will make it last much longer - which makes it feel much longer. After that, play the episodes, then S.T.A.L.K.E.R and, seeing as how you're about half an hour away from finishing Portal, just play it whenever you feel like it.I know what it's like to manage a lot of games with limited playtime. It can be tough, and sometimes gaming feels more like a chore than anything else as you trudge through a game feeling like you're just doing it to get onto the next. Take time out if you have to, remember that you're playing for fun - and try and just think about the game you're with. We have a dry spell for the next few months, so unless you're brand new to PC gaming and have an epic backlog of stuff to buy, there's no rush.
msfa, thats pretty much exactly what I do. I play The Witcher for big long chunks then 'energize' with COD4 multiplayer and go back to it...interesting, didnt think someone else does, or recommends doing the same exact thing I do.

From the ones you posted, Witcher or Stalker...I like games ending with an ''er'' :D
Update: I beat TC17 on Portal, and I am 2/3 done with Episode 1. The others I have yet to work on. I play in spirts lolThis is regents week, here are my gaming goals:Beat Portal (Maybe get a little cake)Complete EP1 and start EP2Play some more WitcherTry the original Half-Life
Well, I can give you some advice on 2 games, being:
The Witcher: It's pretty strange, but every time I went to a new chapter I completely lost my interest for a bit, this mainly because every chapter except 1 has you walking around in a totally different enviroment, it's not to say that it's bad. But I think the devs didn't really manage to keep to ''oh noez, zeh world is comingz to zeh endz'' feeling to carry over between the chapters.

Portal: I think level 17 is where I stopped. Play a bit more, I think it's just 2 more levels until the game actually starts. :) (dundundun). Honestly, I didn't really think Portal was that special, but there's people who'd be willing to give their body and their soul to Valve since they made it. So I guess you should just try it.
COD4: Beat the intro mission, that's all Then you've experienced everything that game has to offer.Crysis: Got up to the ''core'' mission, all gamesavers were deleted, now I'm on relic on deltaDeleted? There IS a God.
The Witcher: I'm at the beginning of Act I.... I beat most of Act I in the demo thoughWorth doing again if only to try different options.HL2: Episode 1: I'm about 1/2 through this. It's decent, but the citadel parts are kinda lame. Need to beat it to play EP2!Don't force yourself to play it if you don't want to. Play Ep2 then come back to it.
Original Half-Life: Never played it....I believe everything that this game introduced to the FPS genre is already being done by other games much better, but most people recommend it anyway just because it is Half-Life. STALKER: I'm up to the ''Garbage'' level and I beat the missions there...You will die an unfulfilled man if you do not play this game. You wanted Single Player; well this is your best option. Portal: I got stuck on lvl 17, haven't finished itAlthough there are only two more levels, you are missing out on a lot.
Oblivion: 12 hours in and I have no desire to play it again.Trust your instincts then.
RE4, HL2, GTA:SA: Beat them allCome back when you complete S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Portal and the Witcher.

The Witcher was amazing. I'd continue playing that.
COD4!COD4!
Get Crysis, The Witcher, The Orange Box and Sam %26 Max.
finish all those games and then get world in conflict, or better still just buy it and add that to your list :)
