World War II

Ok, I'm a huge history buff and the world wars happen to be my favorite era of history but one thing has driven me nuts in the past couple of years and that is the release of so many WW2 based games. I mean seriously, how many times can you storm the beaches of Normandy or defend Tubruk? This has gone on longer then the war and hearing that another Call of duty is in the making makes me cringe. Now some games are good even with the WW2 background such as CoH but even then I only enjoy CoH for the mechanics and not the WW2 aspect of the game. Anyways, do you think that they should just cease the whole WW2 era based games or just let the publisher/devs know that you have your credit card out, ready to buy?World War II
My thoughts exactly-but some WW2 games are good, and there are a lot of gems in the genre (BF1942, CoD.)



As for the bit about CoD5, its not being made by IW, so hopefully CoD6 will be back to modern times.World War II
