Yes, but not just in RTSs. I like console map editors where you just drag and drop from a list of items. I know they aren't as good, but at least I don't have to study a manual to learn how to place a tree.

Map Editors
These days, map editors in RTSs suck! They're so complicated! The AoE 1 %26 2 map editors were the best - I was creating complex scenarios, with triggers and timers and the like, at the age of eleven. Anyone else similarly annoyed?Map Editors
