Sounds like a video or sound driver issue. Need help with my starcraft someone help me plz!
Patch your game. Get the latest Video and audio ane network drivers. Upadte youre BIOS and everything else updateable (check your manufacturer website). If that fails, nothe the BSOD info (or check your eventlog), and google for info.Sorry - that's the best I can do with the info provided.

The game is so old that he might be better off with older drivers than newer ones.
what are your specs?
Ive never had a problem with Starcraft and i have the latest ATI drivers.
im not exactly sure, but i have 1GB ram with an AMD anthlon single processor, along with an ATI Radeon X1600 series. My hard drive should be fine. I have Directx 9. And i have 2.08 ghz of clock speed. I think it should be good enough to run starcraft. My computer is an hp pavilon but its pretty old
i don't think specs are an issue with starcraft unless you are running a computer that was made in the 80s.

Some older games (System Shock 2) comes to mind when playing on newer CPU's. They can handle dual cores, and craches or hangs, unless their affinity are changed to use only one core (Task manager can be used for that). No BSOD though,
Ok, thx problem fixed.
