what happend to all the racing game developers???

Prostreet i must say was one of the most awaited game of the year 2007 and when i got my hands on the demo after waiting for it all night, I was totally disappointed.... EA is not trying hard anymore. Its like hey its a Need For Speed series it will sell.. I got the full version too thinking it would be better than the demo. How i wished i never bought it.what happend to all the racing game developers???

Yea agree bio-ware is going to heading in that direction for sure too. Need for speed was a fun game now look at it!!! yea the game for got who made them too!!! it goes to show how much they really care about their fans that made them!!!The racing games is going no where because the console games can't produce anything, it's only junk
NFS is the only series that were doing well... i remember test drive was the the first and the best pc car racing sim in the 90's then they spoil it as time went by which i feel in the case of NFS is happening too. i remember seeing some xbox racing sims which looked good but werent resleased on PC(Gautham Racing %26 Forza).
sorry i ment Project Gautham Racing i.e PGR

Um.. WHy?? Are you forgetting something called GTR series?? lol... we dont need no Forza.
i love trackmania united, that dev is a genius
Um.. WHy?? Are you forgetting something called GTR series?? lol... we dont need no Forza.
Agreed. Simbin Studion always make a great racing games.
Race 07 is actually better than most people think.
lol all those people who played racing games grew up, got jobs and bought real cars and now attempt to race them, many if them have also gotten into head on collisions, going 90 mph. All those racing games made them think nothing would happen, but of course they where thrown a 10 yards out of the front wind shield.

They are NOT milking any franchise. They are CHANGING what make them successfull into something else. If I absolutely have to compare BioWare change to something else in the Industry, the only example which come to mind is also scaring me a lot...I am not even sure I want to say it...but it would be resumed to 3 letters...NGE. Now, it is not too late for BioWare and they can correct the direction for SOME of their games at least...even if only 1 per few years, it would be 1 saved game!
