Crysis or CoD4? Or neither?

I've played a good amount of CoD4 on the 360. It's alright. Nothing really special. So unless it's a lot different playing online with the PC version, I probably won't get CoD4 for my PC. I realize that the game itself is the same but mouse + keyboard can really make a game different.Crysis - Is the level editor worth making stuff on? I enjoy creating levels but it's lame when you create something and can't do much with it. There are hopes that you'll eventually be able to play co-op against bots in created levels, right? Does the multiplayer get old fast?I don't really care about the single player modes of either game, so throw those out of the equation.Maybe it's best I get neither?Crysis or CoD4? Or neither?
Neither. Unless your PC is amazing. Crysis isn't worth playing unless you can get the full experience. That is why I am waiting until I can get a new computer.

EDIT: I forgot to read your entire post. You said you don't care about single player. Then I suggest still avoiding both completely and getting either Team Fortress 2 or Day of Defeat: Source.Crysis or CoD4? Or neither?
If your machine can handle Crysis then get it, but if it can't get CoD, also there are a lot more people playing CoD compared to Crysis due to the very high requirements it needs, but if you want to have a really fun experience get CoD, Crysis is I would say a time consumer because there is a lot to do in the game.
Or just scrap both and get The Orange Box.

Try the Demo first for COD4 and Crysis. For Orange try the Half Life 2 demo if the graphics give you a headache or make you sick then don't get Orange Box. Cause I know people suffer from that game.
i have both and orange box they are all nice games,i like cod4 better, even though i have a high end systemcrysis had a different feel,cod4, maby with all thats going on in iraq, seem more real.so i`m with cod4.
But isn't COD4 very short? I can't decide between that and Bioshock!!

crysis is far better than cod4, cod4 singleplayer is good but so is crysis and crysis lasts alot longer and cod4 multi requires little skill imo, i enjoy power struggle in crysis although its quite shallow comapred to the options of cod4

[/QUOTE]Agreed. Crysis at medium is equivalent to most other games at high settings. A 50-50 mix of medium and high is comparable to the currently best-looking games (behind Crysis) maxed out entirely.
COD4 multiplayer is the most fun I have had in a long time. Get COD4!
Try the Crysis sandbox editor by d/l the Crysis demo
yeah, cod 4 is nothing special on pc also. that said while crysis has an amazing sp, most people do not enjoy the mp very much. so probably for you neither

If you have 50-60 dollars, go out and get a couple good book series. Or maybe save up for a new instrument, or something. Both those games are a waste of your time just like 95% of every new game that comes out today. Call of Duty 4 was fun, but it's completely ruined now because Infinity Ward has complete dipsh**s working for them. The first 2 weeks were great, but then the lag started to kick in. Now, except for a few select servers, the game is impossible to play (online multiplayer). There are few servers where you will find your ping to be below 100. And of course there will be idiots replying to this saying ''No, it's just you. There's no lag at all!'' And I can just tell you right now that they're lying just to get a rise out of people like me. Ever since patch 1.4, people have never stopped complaining on Charlie Oscar Delta's forums about the lag issues.Crysis' multiplayer I wouldn't know too much about, but the single player campaign isn't very long at all. A good book series or instrument would last you much longer.
I've played both and I find COD4 to be much more enjoyable both singleplayer and multiplayer.
