I think Splinter cell Double agent's music was very good.your choice? What game has a beautiful Music?
Warhammer 40k Dawn of War series has good music that changes with the race you play. I absolutly hated Supreme Commander, but it had very epic music that shifted according to how the battle went. Like, if you where losing the music had a desperate, but ''you can still do this'' kinda feel to it. When you where winning it was a triumphet sound track that made your victory seem welled earned and you where dishing out the justice. Sucky game, good music. What game has a beautiful Music?
yeah, and another game that has a very beautiful music is Dune 2000, and another is commandos 3 and 4.they were good too.
Every CoD game, every Halo game, DoW series.
LOTRO
Homeworld probably has the best original score to any video game I've ever played.
Grim Fandango - if latin style music is your thing.
Gears of War, All final fantasy's, Grim Fandango, Mafia, Hitman, Medal of Honour
The Witcher has amazing music.
Not a PC game, but Mass Effect had great music.
Stalker. Most depressing music, ever.Oblivion has awesome music, especially the main menu tune.Third would be Painkiller, although I'm not into heavy metal, that music rox and fits the game perfectly.
Neverwinter Nights, Oblivion, Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines.
Splinter Cell Chaos Theory has magnificent music. There are three layers to each piece, and each moves between the three depending on whether you're in stealth - on alert or have been spotted. It's really magnificent the way it works, and the way it's all utterly seamless. It's not the kind of music I want to sit down and listen to, but it works excellently in a game.System Shock 2 also has great music - it's a mixture of pumping high speed techno and ominous, atmospheric droning that really suits the game perfectly. Again, it's not something I would like to listen to casually, but it works great in game. The early Tomb Raider games all have excellently scored music - especially the Venice Violins of Tomb Raider II.The Witcher also has excellent music. I spent weeks humming some of the simple, yet beautiful and melodic tracks you hear in the taverns.Besides those games, I don't think any game has more than one piece of great music. Especially awesome single tracks that really stand out for me are Hellmarch from the Red Alert games, Baba Yetu which is Civilization 4's theme music (the really upbeat tribal choir piece), and Agnus Dei in Homeworld (that beautifully serene choir piece) - though neither of these last two was composed for the games.
gta san andreas definetly
Unreal has some great tunes by Alexander Brandon and Michiel Van Den Bos.Shadowgrounds has some great hard electronic music with riffs from Amen of Lordi.
DiabloHitmanHalf-Life 2 + EpisodesPortal
Fahrenheit.
KOTOR has some great music, some of which is based obviously on the Star Wars score, and some is original.I particularly like the very short piece when you enter hyperspace or the music from any of the cutscenes, which (IMO) gives it the feel of epicness like any Star Wars film.
Fahrenheit.
Agreed. Especially the Martina Topley-Bird song.
Kotor-series, System Shock 2, Halo, Mass Effect (beyond awesome music...), Mafia (can't belive so few mentioned it), GTA VC, Dreamfall, Jedi Outcast 2, I also think Gothic 2 and Morrowind had some catchy tunes, but that's probably because I heard them a thousand times in those games and they just got stuck in my brain. Every time I start Morrowind all over again, the music makes me remember all the good times I've had with the game. :)
