Scary Games anyone?

Alright I love scary games and I'm looking for a new one to play, the ones that I have already played on the PC are F.E.A.R. (some people count it as scary), Condemned, Doom 3, Call of Cthulu (amazing game), Bioshock (not too scary but might as well say it), and System Shock 2, I was thinking about the old AVP 2 I've heard good things about it... so anyone? Thanks in advanceScary Games anyone?
not much of a suggestion, but have you played the 'Extraction point' expansion pack for FEAR - it really is just an extension from the original, but worth it if you can pick it up reasonably cheaply, and has the same spookinessother than that, no ideas, but i'll be interested to see what others sayScary Games anyone?
Well there aren many good scary games for the pc..But u can try out silent hill 4,Penumbura,RE 4..RE 4 is not as good as the ps2 or the wii version but still worth a try..U can also try out STALKER..Well STALKER is not a scary game but still provides a very creepy atmosphere..STALKER is seriously worth the try..
I forgot to mention that I've played all the F.E.A.R. expansions, RE4 (forgot there was a PC version :P), and STALKER as you two have mentioned, I haven't played any of the silent hill games though....
suggest AVP 1 %26 2 defoalso try Clive Barkers Undying
suggest AVP 1 %26 2 defoalso try Clive Barkers Undying
Undying is not scary imo.Try Silent Hill 2. Loads of creepy atmosphere. Just be sure to patch it and download the sound/Geforce fix. AVP 2 is kinda scary if you play as a marine. I played AvP2 right after I finished SS2, so I did not bother to finish it. Just not the same level of quality. The suffering is spooky too.So is The Thing, but i'm not sure if it's out on PC. If you like the movie, you'll enjoy the game. It's a spiritual successor to the film.
Quake 4 could be kind of, sort of messed up in some areas (when you see yourself strapped down on a conveyor belt, you'll know what I mean shortly), so it's potentially scary or creepy. Same goes for Prey, it isn't focussed on being scary, but it has some pretty ****ed up parts that can mess with your head (you see a little boy get bloodily thrashed around and killed, for instance).
AVP2 and The Suffering 2 are the most scary games I've played.
the suffering 1+2, resident evil 3, silent hill 2,4, obscure, undying
the original alone in the dark.
If you want a quick no Fps game, Scartches might be worth a try
The Thing was a scary game
Alone in the Dark New Nightmare. Can't wait for the new one

Awesome games and some of the scariest games on PC. You might also want to check out STALKER.. while not scary, the atmosphere can be creepy at times.

None of those games compare to S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

Our definitions of ''scary'' must be different. STALKER uses much less cliched horror elements like atmosphere and delayed encounters instead of things like little black-haired girls jumping out from behind you.

STALKER does a wonderful job at creating a believable atmosphere. Most of the games mentioned are good but what GSC Game World achieved is something else entirely.

That's non-cliched atmosphere right there. Scariest game ever imo.

Until I played STALKER I would have said SS2... but now I've played STALKER and think otherwise. As much as SS2 has a great atmosphere its graphics are heavily dated (even with the update mod) and that, in MY opinion is what gives STALKER the edge.
