Mac has games?
There are some games that come out for Mac as well as PC. (well very few actually)The thing is, nowadays you just boot into windows on your mac and play the windows game. That's what I do!

Mac isnt really a gaming platform, my fav thing to say about mac's:''Mac's are for people that dont know how to use PC's''I HATE MACS...... this is a PC gaming forum, not a wanabe PC forum.thats just me though, i have never seen the drive to own a mac when you can own a PC for way less and it will be faster and you can do so much more with it. also its prebuilt, so its like buying a DELL or a pre-made PC, i wouldnt want either, custom made PC made by myself FTW!

[/QUOTE]regarding pc gaming forum - wrong, read the heading at the top of PC gaming written by gamespot.I know how to use PCs, I used to be a PC technician. I always built my own systems, right from the days of XTs and 286s up until a year ago.spec for spec PCs are no longer 'way' cheaper. Plus Apple have much better quality monitors.as to macs not being a gaming platform - I've had no problems running any games on my mac. With my previous PCs I always had strange graphic issues with certain games, and driver issues, and compatibility issues. It's been a much better gaming platform than any PC i've had. Plus it's got a 24'' screen :)
sorry - one more thing - when you boot into windows on mac, it becomes a windows machine. no emulation, no performance loss, no incompatibilty. no difference in all intents and purposes as any other PC.There is no need to buy the osx version of a game - I only play windows games.
Why the hell would you get Mac for gaming? Then again, why the hell would you get a Mac? Unless you really like to press Ctrl+Alt+Delete or you're trying to run Vista and games with 512MB RAM, then you should have 0 problemos. ALL HAIL BILL! (Except the side of him that's related to Mac)

Like, for example, you wouldn't be able to play Crysis at all, and if you did, you couldn't use that beautiful reflex sight or that...er... ''good'' sniper scope.
Dude mac sucks iv used both macs and windows and iv ever only owned widnows...there basiclaly is no games formac theres teh diffrence and the ones that do release...work better on windows and are like 3 years old by the time they even come out for macAnd photoshop runs better on a freaking windows computer >.> the only thing i can say i like about mac is garage band and it seems to have good memory useage...to bad mac has nothing for the memory to accually need to work...
its called daul booting which canbe easily done theres no beta **** about it dude i know people with 3 operating systems you can have it so you choose whcih you boot into. since most macs use the same crap hardware wise as a PC (tho PC has less Mac compatible parts) that being said if you buy a mac computer you can easily install windows and boot it into windows =/
