Battlefield Heroes

A new game, Battlefield Heroes, is currently being made by DICE and EA. It will feature cartoony graphics like Team Fortress 2. It is like the other battlefield games, so there will be tanks and planes, helis, etc. The game is free to download, but it will have advertisments and you have to buy extra weapons with real money. It is planned to be ready sometime mid 2008.I will download this game and give it a try, if it's decent I might keep it on my PC, if its garbage, I'll go back to BF2. I wonder if anyone is stupid enough to pay for the weapons, for the same price you can buy BF2 which is only like $10 Battlefield Heroes

wait buy extra weapons w/real money? i thought this was play 4 free....not say its play 4 free then have some hidden fees somewhere

Its also funded by ''microtransactions'' aka nickle and dime the users...

I think Ill just wait for BF3, you know EA *HAS* to make it, all they care about is the $bottomline$ and its in their interests to make it...

But ty for lettin me know about release date. I bet EA already has it in Beta or something, they're just dirty bastards. I also hate how you can't skip any of the starting cinematics in any of their games.
