Are these stats accurate? Online gaming server stats.

Ok, I understand there probably is some room for error, but are these stats fairly accurate?http://archive.gamespy.com/stats/Or is there a better page to gauge the online popularity of games by? Basically, I'm considering between BF2, BF2142, and ETQW. I already have COD4. But I wonder if this is the best place to find the server stats, or if it's even accurate? Thanks.BrentAre these stats accurate? Online gaming server stats.
I don't believe gamespy's stats for Wolfenstein Enemy Territory.I use game-monitor.com and http://steampowered.com/v/index.php?area=stats for valve games. Are these stats accurate? Online gaming server stats.
In theory, Gamespy should be the most accurate, since they run the server browser for those games.
Cool, I'll check it out. I do notice by looking at it that the most popular servers on their front page are San Andreas servers? Really?I'm not sure if that is showing what I want though, or at least I don't know how to get it displaying what I'm wanting. I'm basically wanting statistics on the amount of servers running for each game. I know that not all servers are monitored, but it would give me a good idea. It's a tough decision on these games, and I just want to know that the game I end up choosing has enough action going on! And it's also for curiosity.Brent
Well San Andreas can cater to more than 64 players so it makes sense. You can choose which game you want the stats to display for on the top. The amount of servers and the people playing. But what is most important about game-monitor.com is the amount of people playing the game in your country. You would want to play in low ping local servers.
These stats are accurate, but all of the games have a sufficient player base and will be played for a long time to come.
Cool. I'll just have to decide which game is the most action packed and enjoyable. Brent
