Age of Conan delayed again...

A norwegian business paper posted some news about age of conan from the Norwegian company funcom. According to a stock exchange message from Funcom Age of Conan will be delayed another 8 weeks so that the new release date will be May 20th. The delay is because the management in funcom means the game needs more time to get ready. I really don't mind that it's delayed. It has huge asperations, hopefully with the increased time given for development it will be that much better and polished.

I agree.. I prefer a good polished game than a rushed one.. Can't help but to think about Hellgate: London which been rushed a lot just to get out on Halloween. Plus, I might have better chance for a beta shot :).. still waiting for an invite

why is everyone anticipating this game, i know nothing about it but when i first heard of it it was on the release of dx10 and the hype over it was its graphics, but now we have crysis and bioshock and the like for that. what is it that everyones anticipating, seams like a game that will get clive barker's jerico score reviews to me.
Well.. they do promise a lot of new things for this game.. First things I think of are the battle system, the possibility to fight mounted, player made city and fortress, and yes, the mature content (not only boobies) that will seperate this game from the ''family MMOs'' as WoW or CoH.And by the way.. If you play the beta.. you've been asked not to speak of the game.. forums include that. And it's only natural that beta feels buggy and incomplete, the game isn't done yet.
This game is going to flop like Vanguard. That is all I'm trying to say.

You signed the NDA when you joined the beta and breaking it is breaking a law. What about actually giving the devs some constructive feedback rather than bad-mouth the game. And like you can see, Funcom is actually delaying the game to polish it unlike Sigil.
The mmo market is not only pvp there budy, infact must of the mmo market is ''rpg'' players....take agood look at fury! The fact that it is getting alot of attenion is because it's a rpg..... when wow came pvp was a after thought. It still did very welll. Vanguard didn't do well because the game wasn't done. Even so the game devs broke even with that game. the mmorpg market is own by rpg players
two months? thats not so bad. I still have high hopes for this game.

Thanks for the positive news, now i have to file a complaint to the MIB to wipe my memory of AoC's Existence. psssssss, this is gut wrenching. they might as well delay it to october. just like the first time. from a gamers point of view do they even know what they're doing? I mean seriously, i know it takes alot of work to make an mmo, but do they even have the capacity to make an educated guess on when the game is going to be finished? At least they listen to their beta testers and delay the game if they say so.
Well if it has a better launch than hellgate london then the wait is all good!
